Noteworthy New Features and Notable Changes

Core and Sensitivity Analysis

  • IIDM 1.16: Implementation of multiple active operational limits groups.
  • Sensitivity Analysis API: Added operator strategies to the API.

PowSyBl Open Load Flow

  • AC DC Load Flow: First implementation featuring DC detailed components for single synchronous components.
  • Operator Strategies: New support for DC Sensitivity Analysis, including filtered and threshold conditions, and three windings transformer terminal connection actions.
  • HVDC Emulation: Added HVDC AC emulation outer loop for both AC and DC calculations.

PowSyBl OpenRAO

  • Time-coupled Module: Introduction of new MIP generator constraints.
  • Optimisation: Handled cumulative effects of RA limitation in multi-curative optimisation during second preventive; aligned computation units with the objective function.
  • Modeling: Support for German point-to-point HVDC equivalent models.

powsybl-dynawo and PowSyBl Diagram

  • Dynawo: Management of additional IIDM extensions and network modifications before export; prefix parameters handling.
  • Diagram: Implementation of the Atlas2 algorithm to optimize NAD layout and enriched NAD metadata to allow for full SVG generation.
