7th Power Grid Model Meetup 2026

Join the Power Grid Model community on May 21, 2026 for the 7th Power Grid Model Meetup, held as a hybrid event online and in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. The meetup brings together users and contributors to share experiences, hear presentations on practical applications, and collaborate on the continued development of Power Grid Model.

This year the meetup is organized together with Bright Cubes and Interconnect and will be hosted at the Interconnect office and datacenter. The program includes project updates, technical presentations on practical applications, lightning talks, and discussions on future features, the roadmap, and how to contribute.

One session will feature the use case “PEANUT for Tactical Capacity Management: a Power Grid Model implementation,” presented by Francisca Mestre, Energy System Expert at Alliander.

For attendees joining in person, the event will conclude with a datacenter tour and a networking session with refreshments.
