OperatorFabric 4.12.0 Released with Dashboard Enhancements, Email Gateway Updates, and Dependency Upgrades

Dashboard Enhancements
OperatorFabric 4.12.0 includes several updates to dashboard configuration and customization. Users can now add an optional back button to custom card list screens, define which processes are displayed, create multiple custom dashboard screens, configure custom tiles and tile bubbles, and center tiles while allowing them to take up more space. The release also adds support for a year mode in restOfYearMode and removes the processStateRedirects and processCustomLinks configuration options.
Email Gateway Updates
The email gateway gains new capabilities in this release. Users can configure specific process states to send emails as plain text, use templates as the only source for rendering email bodies, and pop mailboxes to convert emails into cards.
Several related configuration changes are also included. The cards-external-diffusion component has been renamed to email-gateway, and configuration parameters previously under operatorfabric.mail* and operatorfabric.emailGateway.defaultConfig.* have been reorganized.
Administration Improvements
Updates to the administration interface include export links on all external devices configuration screens and the addition of creation dates in the user administration screen. Popups in administration screens no longer close when the Escape key is pressed.
Additional Enhancements
Other updates include expanded options for the user last-user-action CLI command, support for asynchronous template processing before sending responses or user cards, support for responses from child card sending, the ability to use slashes in card IDs, dynamic reloading of UI menu configuration, improved error management for card period requests, and changes to card list custom screens so they no longer take user notification filters into account.
Bug Fixes
Version 4.12.0 resolves issues involving repeated supervisor stop and start operations, archive filtering behavior, sending user cards after using built-in message or question list templates, and removal of external device drivers from the pool.
Dependency Upgrades
This release includes upgrades across frontend, backend, Node services, the command line interface, and supporting infrastructure. Updated components include Angular 21.2.8, Spring Boot 4.0.6, Spring Security 7.0.5, Java 21.0.10, Node.js, and RabbitMQ 4.2.5-management.
