OpenUK and IEEE are hosting the first ever State of Open Con, 7-8 February 2023 in London, UK. The conference will bring together leading UK and international figures in open source software, open data and open hardware around the themes of: government, law and policy; security; platform engineering; entrepreneurship; open hardware and open data. The event will also host an unconference, allowing the community to come together and share their own experiences and priorities.
Associate Member OpenUK has offered LF Energy a booth at the conference, and our team is excited to attend to spread the word of all the fantastic work the LF Energy community is doing to accelerate the energy transition through open source technology. Other Linux Foundation involvement at the event includes a booth hosted by FINOS, and speeches by Linux Foundation Executive Director Jim Zemlin and Board of Directors Chair Nithya Ruff.
We invite members of the LF Energy community or those simply interested in learning more about open source technologies to join us. Additional information about the event and registration can be found at https://stateofopencon.com/.
