EVerest Community Hackathon 2026: Cross-Domain Engineering for the Open EV Charging Ecosystem

EVerest Community Hackathon 2026 brings together developers, maintainers, firmware engineers, interoperability specialists, and energy management teams for two days of hands-on engineering collaboration across the EV charging ecosystem.
Hosted by LF Energy with venue support from Pionix, the event is focused on real-world integration and interoperability work spanning EV charging software, ISO 15118, OCPP, CPMS platforms, HEMS integration, cloud energy management, simulation, testing, and related tooling.
Participants are encouraged to propose and collaborate on cross-domain engineering challenges connecting EVerest with adjacent systems and infrastructure.
The hackathon follows The EV:ent (September 7-8) in Bad Schönborn and takes place during a broader month of EV charging and energy infrastructure collaboration across Europe.
Challenge proposals and participant registrations are now open through August 15, 2026.
